Tell Hardin, Montana: Stop All Consideration of Killing Community Cats

Right now, the City of Hardin, Montana, is discussing disturbing plans to create a gas chamber to kill community cats through carbon dioxide (CO2) suffocation. This unspeakable act of animal cruelty to cats is against Montana law, and we won’t stand by.

Horrifying comments made at an April 7 meeting of Hardin’s Law Enforcement Committee include:

“I think the feral cats need to be just put down.”

“We’ve got to come up with a way to get rid of them.”

“We can set up a gas facility and do it.”
